Armor Bank Makes a Bold Investment in the Branch Experience with Total LED Titan Series

Custom dvLED ribbons turn everyday customer dwell time into a dynamic communications opportunity

The Challenge

Adding Interest Without Losing the Interest

Armor Bank wanted to bring more visual energy to its Little Rock branch and create a memorable “wow” moment the instant customers entered the lobby. While the existing environment reflected the bank’s approachable, community-focused personality, it lacked the dynamic technology found in many modern customer-facing spaces. The goal wasn’t simply to add a large screen, but to integrate technology into the architecture while giving the branch a practical communications tool—without requiring significant structural changes.

The displays also offered an opportunity to make better use of customer dwell time. While customers waited for a teller or completed transactions, the screens could share timely information, including bank offerings, current interest rates, community messages, promotions and other relevant content. Instead of letting that time sit idle, Armor Bank saw an opportunity to make every second—and every pixel—work harder.

The Solution

A High-Value Technology Deposit

Gateway Sight & Sound approached Total LED with an unconventional idea: instead of a traditional rectangular display, could dvLED be integrated into the lobby as long, narrow digital ribbons? The answer was yes. Total LED engineered a solution around the existing environment, installing two Titan Series dvLED ribbons across separate walls, each measuring approximately 28 feet wide by just 1.75 feet tall. The unique aspect ratio transformed digital signage into an architectural feature.

Powered by a BrightSign media player and managed through Signagelive, the system gives Armor Bank’s internal team full control over content and messaging. Rates, promotions, services, community initiatives, seasonal campaigns and other communications can be updated as priorities change—giving the bank a flexible communications tool that can respond as quickly as the business itself.

The successful installation was the result of close coordination between Armor Bank, Gateway Sight & Sound, and Total LED.
