As architects, consultants and design teams begin putting 2027 projects on the drawing board, direct-view LED (dvLED) is increasingly part of the conversation. Corporate lobbies, higher education facilities, entertainment venues, command centers, transportation hubs and architectural spaces are all finding new ways to incorporate large-format LED into the built environment.
And while pixel pitch, brightness, resolution and cabinet dimensions certainly matter, experienced AV consultants know that specifying dvLED requires looking well beyond the spec sheet.
They're not simply specifying a display.
They're designing a visual system that needs to perform reliably, integrate into the architecture, meet the client's expectations and remain serviceable for years to come.
